Every winter, during the holiday season, Greensboro holds Piedmont Winterfest, the traditional celebration of all things winter. The festival features outdoor ice skating, ice slide, curling, and other fun events held on Barnhard street. On Tuesdays, the ice rink is closed. It's curling night in downtown Greensboro!
