Best time of year to visit Tenerife

In case you'd like to cut corners, summer months will be appropriate for the trip, as accommodation rates drop significantly. But make sure to book in advance. Spring and fall are considered to be the best time to visit Tenerife. From March through October the weather gets really hot, perfect for the beach activities. Mild winter months are for paragliding and exploring the island. February on Tenerife is famous for its Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival, the second largest carnival in the world after Rio's, and is optimal for swimming and sunbathing too.
