On George's Lucas' planet... Wait, no! In Tunisia, in the city called Tataouine, there is a festival of Sahara dwellings. Here, the famous director shot the original Star Wars film and named Luke Skywalker's fictional home planet Tatooine.
At the festival, you can find music shows, workshops, conferences, and horse racing. Also, you can observe different traditional handicrafts here, including weaving. Sure, all this will feel like a childhood dream—in the places where the Star Wars movie was created.
The festival takes place every year in March. In 2020, the date was rescheduled to May.
