Classic Open Air Featured in
The Classic Open Air festival takes place on Gendarmenmarkt, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. The musical performances under the romantic night sky harmonise with the beautiful surrounding buildings such as Deutscher and Französcher Doms and Konzerthaus.
Music programme mostly covers classical music in the traditional sense but also features some rock, pop, and jazz music performed by violinists, cellists, and other classical musicians. The audience enjoys German and Italian opera, operetta, and other musical productions. Moreover, some of the concerts are accompanied by a light show or fireworks.
