The annual family-friendly event, taking place in September, features about six stages of entertainment, including live combat, jousting, dragons, and a bustling Marketplace with over 80 merchants. So don your best medieval attire and join the colorful crowd of knights, royals, and village folks, in their quest for the long bygone era!

Every weekend of the Arkansas Renaissance Festival at Dragonstone Springs is packed with fun and merriment. Guests can participate in an array of games of skill and activities, like axe throwing, combat with a knight, and castle walls climbing. For those seeking relaxation, the Marketplace offers plenty of options to kick back and enjoy the moment. Feast like a king on Renaissance foods, like turkey legs, honey cakes, and other culinary delights. Wash everything down with ale and mead to get a real taste of history.

Themed weekends

Every weekend of the festival has a distinct theme. On the Opening weekend, from August 31 to September 2, the guests can meet The King and Queen, gracing Dragonstone Springs with their presence along with the whole royal court.

On Pirate and Fairy Weekend (September 7-8), visitors can rub shoulders with pirates, fairies, and mermaids, as well as join in the mayhem of King Oberon’s court. On September 14-15, guests can help the King’s guard to fight off the Viking Invasion and restore peace at Dragonstone Springs. High Fantasy Weekend (September 21-22) is the time when Dragons return to Dragonstone in all their glory. Magical creatures, like elves, nymphs, and mages, are lurking on every corner. The final weekend of the festival is the Market Weekend. Merchants will offer their best intricate wares for the pleasure of the public.

Hours and tockets

Arkansas Renaissance Festival at Dragonstone Springs runs from 10 am to 7 pm. General admission is $25 for adults, $15 for children( 5-12), and $20 for seniors. VIP options are available. To make the most of their trip to the festival, the visitors are encouraged to dress up in 16th-century-style clothes and immerse themselves in a colorful fusion of history, fantasy, and merriment.
