Visitors can buy a ticket for $55, which contains access to the pool, two refreshing drinks, and exclusive food specials from the Magdalena bar.
The Drop-In Summer Concert Series (late May, 2024)
The Drop-In Summer Concert starts a free outdoor concert series during Memorial Day Weekend. Last year, the organizers announced that they had improved the program to ensure a great time for visitors. The Concert Series promises even more music and invites attendees to bring blankets and chairs to make the most of the program. The 2023 lineup contained such talented artists as Flora & Fawna, Good Looks, Sun June, Moddy Bank$, Micah Shalom, Melissa Carper, Annabelle Chairlegs, and more.
Memorial Day Weekend Stempade Rodeo and Parade (May 24-26, 2024)
Memorial Day Weekend Stempade Rodeo and Parade are held in Bandera, 109 miles (175 km) from Austin. Bandera is the Cowboy Capital and has a professional rodeo over Memorial. All the events run May 24-26 and take off at 8 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Active and retired military and American Legion members with valid IDs have free admission. Adult ticket costs $12, children (ages 6-12)—$6, toddler (ages 5 and under)—free. The traditional Memorial Day Parade along Main Street commences at 11 am on Saturday, May 25.
