Corpus Christi Comic Con is the annual comic book and pop culture convention held at the American Bank Center in downtown Corpus Christi. The largest such event for Coastal Bend and Gulf Coast, the convention was founded in 2017. It currently attracts about 7,000 fans of sci-fi, comics, fantasy, horror, video games, and cosplay.
Corpus Christi Comic Con offers a welcoming environment for all types of fans and lots of family-friendly attractions. The exhibition hall boasts over 100 vendors offering toys, comic books, magazines, and collectibles. Visitors can also have their pictures taken with celebrities end enjoy panels, autograph signings, and "how-to” workshops. Meet celebrity guests like Jason David Frank, Scott Patterson, Kim Rhodes, Alaina Huffman, Cooper Andrews, Dean Cain, Michael Dorn, Maile Flanagan, Gates McFadden, Janet Varney, Dante Basco, Barry Williams, Oscar Nunez, Leslie Baker, Chris Sullivan, Sean Gunn, Walter Jones, and Karen Ashley.
Corpus Christi Comic Con encourages all visitors to dress up as their favorite character. Adult and Kids Cosplays are among the main highlights of the two-day convention. The one-day general admission ticket to Corpus Christi Comic Con costs $25. The weekend pass is $50.
