Corpus Christi Comic Con 2024

Corpus Christi Comic Con is the annual comic book and pop culture convention held at the American Bank Center in downtown Corpus Christi. The largest such event for Coastal Bend and Gulf Coast, the convention was founded in 2017. It currently attracts about 7,000 fans of sci-fi, comics, fantasy, horror, video games, and cosplay.

Comic Con Highlights

Corpus Christi Comic Con offers a welcoming environment for all types of fans and lots of family-friendly attractions. The exhibition hall boasts over 100 vendors offering toys, comic books, magazines, and collectibles. Visitors can also have their pictures taken with celebrities end enjoy panels, autograph signings, and "how-to” workshops.

Celebrity Guests

In the past, Corpus Christi Comic Con featured celebrity guests like Jason David Frank, Scott Patterson, Kim Rhodes, Alaina Huffman, Cooper Andrews, Dean Cain, Michael Dorn, Maile Flanagan, Gates McFadden, Janet Varney, Dante Basco, Barry Williams, Oscar Nunez, Leslie Baker, Chris Sullivan, Sean Gunn, Walter Jones, and Karen Ashley. In 2024, you can meet Racheal Leigh Cook, Chuck Norris, Lou Ferrigno, Joey Fatone, AJ McLean, Amy Dumas, Lou Diamond Phillips, David Yost, Mick Foley, Sean Maher , Summer Glau, Adam Baldwin, Daran Norris and Susanne Blakeslee. Autograph pricing is typically between $20 -$50, cash only.

Cosplay

Corpus Christi Comic Con encourages all visitors to dress up as their favorite character. Adult and Kids Cosplays are among the main highlights of the two-day convention. The adult contest takes place on July 27 at 6 pm. Registration ends at 4 pm. The kids' contest takes place on July 28 at 4 pm. Registration ends at 3 pm.

Tickets

The one-day general admission ticket to Corpus Christi Comic Con costs from $30 to $40. The weekend pass is $50. A child one-day ticket (ages 6-10) is $10. A child weekend pass is $15. VIP Pass is $130.
