Water Lantern Festival is a floating lantern event, held at Craig Ranch Park in Las Vegas. Visitors can experience the magic of thousands of lanterns illuminating the water at night. Water Lantern Festival also offers delicious food truck treats, fun music, and various activities. The festival was voted the #1 cultural festival by USA Today and is held in dozens of cities across North America.
Festival gates open at 3 pm. Before dusk, people can enjoy food and fun activities for the whole family. After participants receive their floating lantern kit, which includes an environmentally safe LED candle, they can start working on designing their lanterns and writing a message for a lantern to display Many people include messages of hope and love, while some lanterns commemorate passed loved ones.
Lantern launch takes place from 6 to 7:30 pm. Enjoy the beautiful sight of thousands of lanterns, carrying people's dreams and wishes, drift away and connect with each other on the water.
