Jack O'Lantern Festival in Louisville Featured in
Louisville Jack O' Lantern Spectacular is an annual Halloween-themed event, held in Iroquois Park, Louisville, KY, during October. The pinnacle of the celebration is its stunning nightly walk-through. The path is studded with over 5,000 hand-made pumpkins featuring the carvings of some popular movies, TV shows, books, video games, and bands. The display starts at dusk at about 6:30 pm and runs until 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and until 10 pm on the rest of the days.
Jack O'Lantern Festival is a ticketed event supporting the non-profit Parks Alliance of Louisville. Besides the Spectacular itself, you can also buy tickets to enjoy the Pre-Lit Bash opening party without waiting in lines. Another unit of the festive program is a Sensory Night, designed for people with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The sensory-friendly entertainment is typically available on select dates for an hour prior to the standard show and features no music or special effects.
