Even though you don't feel the arrival of fall in Miami as much as in northern states, it is still a great place to spend Halloween. Miami loves to party and to dress up. Choosing between South Beach club parties on the spookiest night of the year can be complicated since there are so many to choose from. There are also plenty of scary attractions and fun events leading up to the holiday.

HalloWYN Block Party at the Wynwood Marketplace (October 31, 2020, unconfirmed)

HalloWYN Block Party held at the Wynwood Marketplace on 2nd Ave in Downtown Miami. Taking place in the coolest Miami neighborhood, HalloWYN Block Party attracts thousands of hip locals wearing the most creative and eclectic costumes. Hundreds of zombies, warlocks, and witches can enjoy live entertainment, snack on the best foods from over 20 local food trucks, and dance through the night. Lavish decorations turn the Wynwood Marketplace into the spookiest spot in South Florida.

Halloween on the Mile (October 31–November 1, 2021)

Halloween on the Mile is a family-friendly fall festival held at Miracle Mile in Downtown Coral Gables on October 31. Kids of all ages adore this celebration packed with exciting Halloween activities, like spooky storytelling, arts & crafts, a human costume contest, and a dog costume contest.

Zoo Boo at Zoo Miami (dates for 2020 TBA)

Zoo Boo is South Florida's premier Halloween experience for kids and their parents. A massive trick-or-treating program attracts families and kids under 12 who dress up in costumes and participate in the Fang-tastic Costume Contest. There is live music, special performances, Halloween crafts, and lots of wild animals with their Halloween treats as well. Watch how orangutans, camels, horses, goats, and zebu cow also get pumpkin treats, while Meerkats eat worms from creepy places. Actor's Playhouse is usually performing three times per day—at 11:30 am, 12:30 pm, and 2:30 pm. The Zoo Boo program is included in Zoo Miami's general admission.

House of Horror Haunted Carnival (on hold)

The House of Horror Haunted Carnival is South Florida's largest scary attraction and haunting experience. House of Horror consists of two haunted houses spanning over 2 acres of space with scary, exciting and fun activities. The houses have over 30 rooms filled with bone-chilling terror. Be prepared to face your worst nightmares at House of Horror Haunted Carnival in South Florida.
