The North Texas Irish Festival (NTIF), founded in March 1983 in Dallas, TX, is influenced by Irish and other Celtic traditions. Held at Fair Park, it is the second-oldest Irish festival in the country. As one of the most significant events in the United States, the festival features performances from local pipe and drum bands and music from numerous artists across Texas and nearby states.
Lineup
The headliner lineup for the North Texas Irish Festival features Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas, ALTAN, Cathie Ryan, Celtic Aire, Cherish The Ladies, Conor Mallon Unearthed, and The Consequences. These performers bring a mix of traditional Irish music, original compositions, and a fresh take on the genre, with some celebrating decades of success and others introducing new sounds to the folk scene.
Fest Events
The festival showcases craft demonstrations, workshops, games, culinary events, storytellers, dance performances, traditional Irish foods and drinks, vendor areas, a children’s area, and much more. The annual three-day NTIF features professional craft and art vendors with a Celtic or handcrafted theme, as well as general merchandise businesses offering quality products. In addition to music, the festival also highlights performances from traditional Irish dancers and features a festive run.
Tickets
Single-day tickets for the North Texas Irish Festival are priced at $15 for adults on Friday and $25 for adults on Saturday or Sunday. Tickets for children ages 6-11 are $10. Weekend tickets are available for $45 for adults and $20 for children for a 3-day weekend. A 2-day weekend ticket costs $40 for adults and $15 for children. There is also a weekend bundle available for $150. VIP tickets for two are priced between $500 and $2000. Children 5 and under can attend for free.
