St.Patrick's Day brings a lot of fun to Colorado Springs. The holiday has been celebrated in the city since 1985. The celebration includes a festive parade, a 5K run, Irish beer tastings, pub crawls, folk music, and performances. Colorado Springs offers many ways to celebrate the National holiday of Ireland!

The annual Colorado Springs St. Patrick’s Day Parade is the biggest in Southern Colorado. The highlight of the spring season features many marching bands, colorful floats, flags, and leprechauns. The parade is attended by 35,000 people.

The procession starts at noon in downtown Colorado Springs. The route begins on the corner of Tejon Street and E. St. Vrain; then it continues south on Tejon Street to Vermijo. The best spots to watch the parade are at the St.Pat’s Grandstands. You can buy the tickets, have the best view from the west side of Pikes Peak Ave., and hear when the parade announcer presents each entry.

The beloved Colorado Spring tradition with over 40 years of history includes other events, such as the annual 5k for St. Patrick’s Day, the Leprechaun Fun Run, a kids scavenger hunt, Locate the Leprechaun, and a 50K bike ride. St.Paddy's Day pop-up pub will be serving special cocktails and Irish beer. Paddy O’Pub opens at 9 am to serve the fine products of Guinness and Irish whiskey. Don't forget to put on your best green outfit and join the fun!
