Tonno del Chianti Featured in
Tonno of Chianti is made from pork meat cut into cubes and slowly boiled in white wine. After boiling the meat cubes are put into a jar filled with olive oil. The dish acquired its name owing to the fact that the slices of cooked pork resemble canned tuna, “tonno ” is an Italian. Tonno of Chianti is cooked in Florence only in July.
