Finnbiff is the name of traditional Norwegian dish made of reindeer shavings. A portion of hot raindeer stew will supply you with sufficient amount of energy for the whole day and is the most popular during cold winter season. Frozen reindeer meat is available all-year-round, but the best time to enjoy Norwegian specialty is autumn, the reindeers' slaughter season. Fresh reindeer meat is available between September to January.
