Try out a Chinese cobra or one of 4 other kinds of snakes which are eaten in Hong Kong. Snake meat has been a part of Chinese culinary tradition for centuries. It is believed to have a number of medicinal benefits and taste like chicken.
Hong Kongers still consume it as a daily meal, however, it may be an extremely unusual dish for foreigners. Chinese traditional medicinal texts say that snake meat is good to warm the blood during cold winter months. Give it a try and see for yourself!
