According to the organizers, the event aims to unite participants through their shared strength and determination, symbolizing the unyielding spirit of Ukraine.

Participants can register either offline in Kyiv or online from anywhere in the world. The registration fees vary based on the number of available slots and range from 1150 to 1550 Ukrainian hryvnias for the marathon. The fee covers various amenities, including a race bib with the participant's name, a finisher medal, an electronic timing chip, route maps, changing rooms, luggage storage, hydration stations, and post-race photos.

Trukhaniv Island, located in the Dnipro River, is easily accessible from central Kyiv, providing a serene backdrop for the marathon. The island is equipped with the necessary facilities for participants and spectators, ensuring a comfortable experience. Historical Context

The Kyiv City Marathon was first held on October 16, 2010, with 546 runners from 13 countries participating in the inaugural event. Since then, the marathon has grown significantly, attracting around 8,000 participants in recent years. This growth reflects the increasing popularity of running in Ukraine and the international appeal of the event.

While on Trukhaniv Island, participants can explore the island's green spaces, beaches, and various recreational facilities.
