Santa Fe Renaissance Faire 2024
Dress up as your favorite mythical creature at New Mexico’s premier Renaissance Fair
Dates: September 14-15, 2024
Santa Fe Renaissance Faire is an annual medieval-themed event held at El Rancho de las Golondrinas, a Spanish colonial outdoor living history museum, spanning 200 acres of historical recreations and various attractions. Each September, the museum grounds undergo a magical metamorphosis, transforming into a lively celebration brimming with artistry and revelry reminiscent of bygone eras. Guests can travel back in time to the Kingdom of Golondrinas, meet the royal court, cheer on knights, and shrink in size to explore the whimsical fairy village.
This year families are cordially invited to partake in this immersive experience, set within a secure and family-friendly ambiance on September 14 and 15, 2024, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Royal encounters and festive revelry
Resembling a medieval amusement park, the Santa Fe Renaissance Faire boasts a lot of quality entertainment, including live medieval music on the Queen’s Stage, a magical village of fairies, fortune tellers, unique games, belly-dancing, and jousting tournaments. After meeting the esteemed Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand of Spain at the Royal Pavilion, the guests can peruse the finest medieval arts and crafts while sampling libations from New Mexico's own Hard Cider, Beer Creek Brewing, and Sheehan Winery.
From dynamic musical performances to daring feats, the fair brims with excitement. Adventure awaits on the village streets, at the King’s Tavern, and amidst the Field of Champions. History enthusiasts will find delight in the dedicated History Corner, brimming with fascinating insights into the era. However, the true spectacle lies in the vibrant array of costumes. Whether worn by professional cast members or enthusiastic attendees, the colorful variety of garments showcases a pomp and grandeur rarely seen since the days of yore.
Tickets and shuttle service
Stay tuned for ticket availability, and take advantage of the free shuttle service running from 9 am to 6 pm between The Santa Fe Downs (27475 W Frontage Road) and Las Golondrinas.
