Holy Ship! Wrecked 2025 in Cancun

Holy Ship! Wrecked is an immersive music festival taking place on the coast of Riviera de Maya and featuring a diverse lineup of both up-and-coming and renowned DJs and musicians in the industry. Normally set in December, the event offers a great opportunity for a beach vacation, combined with an intimate atmosphere and all the perks of an all-inclusive resort.

Holy Ship! in Miami

Interestingly, Holy Ship! Wrecked is a spin-off of a beloved Holy Ship! festival, which regularly took place in Miami since 2012 and drew a massive crowd of 4,000 people. The signature element of the event was its setting–a cruise boat that sailed from Port Canaveral and stopped in the Bahamas for a beach party. Over several days, festivalgoers had a chance to dance the night away on a cruise ship, as well as enjoy stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. After a hiatus during the pandemic, Holy Ship! returned as Holy Ship! Wrecked with an entirely on-land format.

Festival Program

This thrilling music festival features several stages, all with their own separate lineups. At last year's edition, concertgoers had a chance to experience fantastic music at six stages, including the Beach Stage, Sunrise Stage, Wrecked Stage, and the Pool Stage. Daytime programming, fashion shows, games, and opportunities to interact with your favorite artists.

Theme Nights

A highlight of the Holy Ship! Wrecked fun are the themed nights, which have been a long-standing tradition of the festival. Each night of the event has a certain theme, which is announced prior to the festival. From space cowboys to horror characters, the Holy Ship! community loves to dress up and flaunt their most innovative costumes.

Past Lineup

In the past, the organizers of Holy Ship! Wrecked has managed to bring an impressive selection of artists, with genres ranging from house and dubstep to techno, trance, and more. In 2023, the festival showcased the following artists: Boys Noize, Chris Lake, Claude VonStroke, Derrick Carter, Subtronics, Skream, Valentino Khan, Green Velvet, and many others.

Schedule

The festival unfolds over four days in mid-December, but some editions were hosted in January. The performances usually begin at around 1-2 pm and span well into the early morning until 3-4 am, which means you can spend the entire morning relaxing at the resort and go all out during the night.

Location

Since 2021, Holy Ship! Wrecked has been taking place at the Hard Rock Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Visitors are sure to never get bored at this all-inclusive resort, which features numerous eateries, pools, water attractions, bars, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The resort is also just 3 miles (4 km) away from picturesque Paamul beach and 55 miles (88 km) from Cancun.
