The Nebraska Balloon & Wine Festival is an annual get-together for balloon lovers and wine aficionados. In essence, it blends the elegance of wine tasting with the excitement of hot air ballooning. Nebraska Balloon & Wine Festival takes place over Friday and Saturday at the Ta Ha Zouka Park, Elkhorn. That's 23 mi (37 km) west of downtown Omaha. The festive program features wine and food tastings along with hot air ballooning. In addition, there will be a KidZone, a Family Village, and helicopter rides (on Saturday). The festival hours for Friday are 5 pm to 11 pm, and on Saturday—3 pm to 11 pm.
Tickets
General admission tickets cost $17 and $21 at the gate, and they include five wine tastes and a souvenir glass. Tickets for children aged five to twelve are worth $8, while kids aged five and under have free admission. Wine tasting package costs $17 in advance and $21 at the gate.
