This occasion is the longest sports aviation event in Asia—еhe four days of breathtaking shows performed by the owners of numerous multicolored hot air balloons. It used to be held in Clark, Pampanga but in 2020 moved to San Lazaro Leisure Park in Carmona, Cavite. The event usually takes place in February or March and is proclaimed "the weekend of everything that flies".
Aviators from all around the world come to the Philippines to show their masterpieces and share an unforgettable experience. Generally, the Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is a chance to see balloons from Europe, the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, Asia, and other parts of the world at once.
The festival also includes a number of events devoted to skydiving, rocketry demonstrations, remote-control airplane and helicopters, freestyle aerobatics, kite-making, aero-modeling, and many other activities. Music and folk art are also an important part of the festival.
