The Great Missenden Food Festival is an annual family-friendly event taking place in the Chiltern Hills in Buckinghamshire. Every spring, the festival features about 175 exhibitors, including local producers and vendors nationwide. The public can enjoy cooking demonstrations and plenty of free activities for both adults and children. The Great Missenden Food Festival 2024 will take place two times in the year: during the Easter Holiday, March 29-31, and on August 24-26.

The highlights of The Great Missenden Food Festival include artisan food and street food, as well as free workshops and cook-alongs with professional chefs. Demonstrations, BBQ masterclasses, cheese and wine tastings will keep the adults busy, while children can have fun in the fairground area.

The Street Food area is packed with delicious treats for everyone to enjoy. The VIP area will please those looking for extra comfort. It features a bar, VIP parking, and fast track entry. A camping package includes a 3 or 4-night stay, free entry to the festival, access to the bar and food in the evening, as well as bathrooms and showers. Parking onsite is free of charge. A leashed dog is allowed as long as it is kept on a lead at all times

Festival Hours and Tickets

The Great Missenden Food Festival 2024 runs from 10 am to 5 pm each day. Great Missenden Food Festival guests can purchase tickets in advance and at the gate. An Online Adult ticket costs £10.50, a Senior ticket—£9.00, and Children (ages 16 and under) are free. Disabled/Career/Blue Light Card Holder tickets—£8.00, and VIP Tickets cost £21.00. Each ticket includes a £1.00 donation to Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity. Advance Tickets are available until midnight on March 28, 2024.

An Adult ticket at the gate cost £13.50, Seniors—£12.00, Children (ages 16 and under)—free, Disabled/Career/Blue Light Card Holder tickets—£11.00, and VIP Ticket costs £26.00. Each ticket includes a £1.00 donation to the Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity.

Great Missenden is a bucolic English village offering beautiful views of Buckinghamshire countryside. Visitors can take The Roald Dahl Village Trail or one of the country walks, which starts at the railway station. The trails go along the Misbourne Valley, Great Missenden, Little Missenden, Amersham, and Chalfont St Giles.
