A professional NHL game is a truly great sports experience in Northern America. The U.S. capital hosts the Washington Capitals—commonly called the Caps. The team plays in the Metropolitan Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). Since 1974, they won one conference championship and nine division titles.

NHL Team 2024 Season

The Capitals’ season begins with three home games, including a highly anticipated rematch against the Vegas Golden Knights, the team they defeated in the 2018 Stanley Cup Final. They will also have crucial late-season games against Eastern Conference opponents, making their final stretch critical for playoff positioning. With a combination of veteran leadership and new talent, the Capitals aim to find a balance between offense and defense to remain competitive in the highly demanding Metropolitan Division this year.
