The sports team representing Argentina in international rugby competitions is known as Los Pumas. This is the strongest team of South America, and one of the strongest in the world. Since 2012 it has been invited to play in the Rugby Championship previously called the Tri Nations. This famous competition joins the three rugby powers of the Southern Hemisphere: New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa.
Incredible performances of Los Pumas can be seen at the stadiums of Buenos Aires, Salta and Mendoza in August–October depending on the schedule. Now Rugby is the second national sport of Argentina.
