Bloor-Yorkville Icefest is the annual celebration of winter taking place every February in the Village of Yorkville Park. Nearby Cumberland Street also offers live entertainment, performances, ice carving demos and the Icefest Lounge with DJs.

2024 Edition

The organizers of Bloor-Yorkville Icefest have announced the suspension of the event after its 2023 edition for the foreseeable future.

Highlights

The Annual Ice Carving Competition is the main highlight of the festival. The Yorkville Park gets transformed into a magical exhibition of crystal clear ice sculptures united by one theme that changes every year. And usually, there is some significant and most photographed object like the 11th Century-Styled Castle with Knights with a majestic throne. The competition takes place in the eastern part of the Village of Yorkville Park. Visitors can cast their own vote to pick The People’s Choice Sculpture.

Hours

The festival is open from noon to 8 pm on Saturdays and from noon until 5 pm on Sundays.
