Say goodbye to the summer with a signature annual event of The Callaway Gardens—The Hot Air Balloon Festival. Witness over 30 balloons taking off in the sky during Labor Day Weekend and enjoy the garden with beach access all day. The attractions include waterfront activities and endless entertainment.
The main highlight of the Festival's program is the magical Balloon Glow, which usually begins at 8:30 pm. Glowing balloons resemble giant lanterns illuminating the night sky over Robin Lake Beach. Then, an amazing fireworks display takes over the sky, leaving the public in awe.
During the whole weekend, there is an array of family-friendly events and beach activities at Robin Lake Beach. The car show takes place on Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. Craft vendors and artisans offer their unique handmade items. Tethered balloon rides are available on both days from 8 to 11 am and from 4 to 8 pm.
K9 show, live music, and delicious food are just some of the attractions of the Hot Air Balloon Festival at Callaway Gardens.
