Louder than Life is the annual music festival that takes place for three days at the Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Expo Center, Louisville, in September. It features over 50 music acts on three stages, as well as award-winning whiskey, bourbons, craft beer, and excellent Louisville food. The festival that is produced by Danny Wimmer Presents has been held since 2014.
Louder Than Life focuses on classic rock bands and performers such as Guns N’ Roses, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Slipknot and Disturbed, Staind, Godsmack, A Day To Remember, Ice Cube, Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Halestorm, Dropkick Murphys, Stone Temple Pilots, Suicidal Tendencies, Melvins, Andrew W.K., Die Antwoord, Three Days Grace, Sum 41, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, and others.
Louder Than Life attendees are offered an onsite food and beverage showcase that celebrate the Kentucky bourbon culture and culinary heritage. VIP packages, camping, and hotel packages are available. It's also possible to attend Hometown Rising Country Music & Bourbon Festival and Bourbon & Beyond weekend, both held in the same location in September.
