Kicking off at St. John Road, the parade starts at 7 pm. It travels south, past The State Theater on West Dixie Avenue, ending at the Public Square. The evening begins at 6 pm with pre-parade dance performances by local schools and snack vendors offering holiday treats. The highlight of the parade is the arrival of Santa Claus, who helps usher in the holiday spirit as he greets families along the route.
Christmas Tree Lighting
The excitement continues as the crowd gathers for the Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Mayor Jeff Gregory reads The Night Before Christmas before leading the countdown to illuminate the town’s stunning tree. Festivities continue as holiday displays dazzle the public throughout the city. The evening wraps up with joyful Christmas caroling on West Dixie Avenue, leaving attendees with warm holiday memories. A live nativity performance is another highlight of the evening. Families can enjoy photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, various entertainment, as well as food and vendors.
