Labor Day Weekend in South Florida is all about massive parties, great food, and live music events. Labor Day brunches and pub crawls are a must-try. Labor Day Weekend Pub Crawl (September 2–3, 2022)

A Pub Crawl is the annual South Beach Labor Day tradition. You can discover four of the area's best bars, lounges, and nightclubs. Free shots, free admission, and no lines are guaranteed. The crawl also includes an ultra-club with famous international DJs with a free VIP entry.

Urban Film Festival (September 2–4, 2022)

If you are a movie fan, the annual Urban Film Festival is a great way to meet filmmakers and watch some interesting movies in downtown Miami. The festival is held at Lyric Theater over three days with the aim to showcase emerging filmmakers, educate the public, and provide distribution opportunities for the new generation of directors. The festival focuses on culturally driven content and urban stories depicting the daily lives of various communities.

Boat Parties

Labor Day is a great occasion to spend an evening on a yacht in Miami. Visitors can usually choose from a wide variety of events that typically last for about three hours. Party boats serve snacks, drinks, and plenty of music from various DJs. Tickets range from $75 to $700. Miami Nice Annual Labor Day Weekend all White Yacht Party is one of the hottest in town. It is held on South Beach Lady Yacht. Alternatively, choose All White Attire Yacht Party on the SeaFair, the largest private yacht in the US, The Yacht Party (Seersucker & Sundress Edition), or Gemini Birthday Bash Yacht Party departing from Miamarina in Miami.

Labor Day Getaways

Miami does get rather crowded during long weekends so if you don't feel like embracing parties, noise and large crowds try to get away from South Beach and explore the vicinity. Take a dip in the Venetian Pool in Coral Gables, which gets refilled with fresh water every day, explore the Kampong Tropical Garden in Coconut Grove , or taste all the exotic fruits in The Redlands and Homestead . Rent a kayak and wander through the mangroves of Biscayne National Park, or The Everglades up to Marco Island and Ten Thousand Islands chain . Take a drive on the Overseas Highway and discover Florida Keys boasting the most scenic beaches and stunning views. Don't leave until you see one of those famous sunsets.
