Windsor Harvest Festival is one of the largest Northern Colorado summer events, which is held during the Labor Day weekend. About 30,000 guests attend the festival every September at various locations in Windsor, such as Eastman Park, Main Park, and Boardwalk Park.

Windsor Harvest Festival Events and Activities

The beloved family-friendly celebration features a balloon rally, over 100 local vendors, live music, amusement rides, food & drinks, the downtown parade, and an amazing fireworks show. The highlights of Windsor Harvest Festival also include a Cruise-In Car Show, a farmers' market, a beer garden, and more than 30 activities across various locations in town.

The famous Balloon Launch kicks off the festival on Saturday at Eastman Park. Picture the Sky Balloon Rally usually starts at about 6:30 pm, weather permitting. The rally is followed by the street party at Boardwalk Park with a live music concert. The Labor Day morning always begins with a 9 am Parade, The lineup usually takes place at Walnut Street and Chimney Park Drive.

Saturday

Saturday's events begin with the Windsor Harvest Festival Balloon Launch at Windsor Eastman Park from 6:30 to 8 am. Then, guests can visit the Farmers Market at Boardwalk Park from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Chalk on the Walk takes place at the Windsor Chamber Office from 8 am to 1 pm. Also, don't miss the Vendor Load-In at Main Park from 9 am to 5 pm.

For car connoisseurs, the Windsor Cruise-In Car Show will run at Eastman Park from 10 am until 2 pm. The Vintage Baseball Game starts at Eastman Park at 11 am. If you are hungry by then, visit the All Town BBQ with a $5 meal deal supporting the Cougars Softball Team at Boardwalk Park, lasting from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm. End this fantastic day with a 15-minute Windsor Harvest Festival Fireworks Show over Windsor Lake at 9:05 pm.

Sunday

On Sunday, the Windsor Harvest Festival invites guests to a charitable Pancake Breakfast at the Windsor Rec Center from 7 am to 10 am. The Hot Air Balloon Launch will start at Eastman Park at 6:30 am and last until 8 am. There will be arts and crafts, commercial and food booths, kids' amusement rides and games, a petting zoo of all types, and the Big Idaho Potato Truck at Windsor Main Park from 9 am to 5 pm.

Church Service in the Park at Windsor Main Park will be held from 10 am to 11 am. Also, guests can visit the Doggie Dip at Chimney Park Municipal Pool at 10 am and enjoy Horse Drawn Carriage Rides, a Beer Garden, and bingo at Windsor Main Park from 12 pm to 5 pm. This festival day will end with a free Movie in the Park at Eastman Park at 8 pm.

Monday

The last festival day will kick off with the Windsor Harvest Festival Parade at 9 am. After that, festival guests can enjoy arts and crafts, commercial and food booths, kids' amusement rides and games, and the Big Idaho Potato Truck at Windsor Main Park from 9 am to 5 pm. The Horse Drawn Carriage Rides, beer garden, and bingo will be held at Main Park from 12 pm to 5 pm. Also, you can visit the Pie Eating Contest at Main Park at 3 pm.
