The Grand Rapids Area is famous for its popular hot-air ballooning events. Hudsonville Baloon Days is another fun summer weekend festival, held in Hudsonville, a suburban town in the Grand Rapids metropolitan area. This free community hot-air ballooning event usually lasts for two days in mid-June.

Hudsonville Balloon Days feature mass balloon launches at 7 pm on two days. Over 20 hot air balloons ascend over Unity Christian High School at 5900 48th St. Hot Air Balloon Glow with tethered balloons takes place at 9:30 pm on both days. Other highlights include a media flight over Hudsonville, vendors, and various entertainment. Plenty of food trucks offer delicious meals. Live music, craft stations, and fun activities for the whole family will be available from 3 to 10 pm.

Parking is available for $10 donations at Unity Christian High School. The festival also offers a shuttle service between Georgetown Christian Reformed Church and Hudsonville Christian School on both days. Attendees are also encouraged to take advantage of the assortment of vendors and food trucks all weekend long. The public can bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Balloon rides will take place, weather permitting.
