The first thing you should know about this hot air balloon show is that it’s not just about balloons. In addition to tethered rides, glow-in-the-dark balloon parties, and the flying shows, you’ll have an abundance of entertainment options to choose from. For example, be sure to visit the old-cars display by The Tucson Street Rod Association and exhibitions by Marana Police, listen to a live music concert by local bands, and join the crowd for an amazing firework show at the end of the night. There will also be numerous food trucks and a beer garden for you to soothe your hunger. And while you do that, your little ones can enjoy fun jumping castles in the kids' zone.
Where & How Much
The event is held at Marana’s MHC Healthcare Campus, which offers a free parking lot. Admission to the festival is approximately $10 per person, but children aged five and younger, as well as veterans, can get in for free. Keep in mind that Marana gets pretty busy this time of year, so you may want to book your accommodation beforehand.
