Date, location and tickets

This year, guests will be able to enjoy the Colorado Renaissance Festival every weekend from June 15 to August 4. Events will take place at the Perry Park Ave (parking is free) and run from 10 am-6:30 pm. As for tickets, children under 5 are free, but the organizers promise to inform about the price for adults very soon. The festival site (Perry Park Ave) is 0.9 miles (1.4 km) from Larkspur downtown, where the cafe and gas station are located.

Festival regulations and prohibitions

At the festival, all food and beverages are cash only. Visitors can't bring outside food, beverage or coolers other than factory-sealed bottled water. However, the organizers will not leave their guests hungry. At previous festivals, everyone could try delicious dishes for every taste at Friar Tucks Bakery, King's Pantry, International Food Court, etc.

Renaissance fans can attend the festival in any weather and wear their costume. However, costume swords and daggers are permitted as long as they are properly sheathed and peace-tied. It is important to emphasize that visitors cannot wear full face masks—festival staff will ask to remove them. Also, you cannot visit the festival with a pet.

Activities and events

Although the festival has't yet shared the program of the event in 2024, it's safe to say that it will not disappoint its guests. After all, for more than 40 years, the Colorado Renaissance Festival always gives exciting emotions. For example, visitors already have a chance to learn about elephants, their care and conservation, watch a magic show (Arsene Of Paris), Sideshow Cy show by fantastic performer who swallows knives, or witness a battle of knights.

The Colorado Renaissance Festival offers entertainment and activities for visitors of all ages. Children can enjoy puppet shows, storytelling sessions, games, and hands-on crafts, while adults can partake in themed workshops, demonstrations, and historical reenactments.

The illusion of a rollicking 16th century day is created by hundreds of authentically costumed merrymakers pretending that they are working and living throughout the village, performing on the event's seven stages.

Your journey through a medieval city will be sugar-coated with tasty turkey legs and fresh-baked pastries, music, and fair featuring more than 200 artisans creating original works of their ancient craft.

The Colorado Renaissance Festival is a place where the sights, sounds, and smells of the Renaissance era come to life. From period costumes and authentic music to elaborately decorated stages and village streets, the festival transports you to another time and place.
