The Jersey International Air Display is a much-anticipated event held annually on the island of Jersey in the Channel Islands. Established in 1952, this air show offers a captivating experience for spectators, showcasing a variety of aerial and ground displays every September. Organized by the Jersey International Air Display a.r.l., a not-for-profit company, the event aims to support British Service Charities while boosting the island's tourism industry.
Aerial Performances
The Jersey International Air Display will showcase a spectacular lineup of aerial performances. The RAF Falcons, the UK's premier military parachute display team, will dazzle with their precision free-fall maneuvers and formations. Joining them will be the Grumman S-2 Tracker, making its debut at the event as the Conair Turbo 'Firecat.' Additionally, the versatile North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco will display its unique design and capabilities. Aviation enthusiasts will also witness the only flying example of the Fokker D.XXI, which made its debut last year in the Netherlands. Completing the impressive roster, the Equipe de Voltige de l'Armée de l'Air will bring their dynamic aerobatic skills to the skies over Jersey.
Venue
Taking place against the scenic backdrop of St. Aubin's Bay, the air show offers a free flying display that includes fast jets, vintage warbirds, classic aircraft, and even local talent. The bay's natural amphitheater provides an ideal vantage point for spectators to witness the aerial maneuvers.
Ground Attractions
In addition to the airborne excitement, visitors can enjoy various ground activities and attractions. From exploring static aircraft displays at Jersey Airport and Lower West Park in St. Helier to sampling local flavors at the food fair, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
Safety
Safety is paramount during the air display, with strict regulations in place to ensure the well-being of spectators and participants. The event organizers emphasize adherence to safety notices, including restrictions on drones, model aircraft, and other aerial activities within designated airspace.

The Jersey International Air Display isn't just about thrilling performances; it's also a celebration of community spirit. Local businesses, volunteers, and organizations play a crucial role in the success of the event, contributing to its vibrant atmosphere and sense of camaraderie.
