Scheduled for the last weekend in August, Atlantic Canada International Air Show is a wonderful occasion to wrap up summer in Debert, Nova Scotia. The event used to take place in other spots and provinces across Canada, but eventually moved to Debert Airport in 2022. As seen before, Air Show Atlantic features thrilling aerobatic performances, gliders, and vintage WWII aircraft, and always pays a special tribute to the Royal Canadian Air Force.
The grounds of the Debert airshow is open to the public only on Saturday and Sunday, while you can also witness some unique activity in the airport on Thursday, Air Show Performers Media Day, and Friday—Air Show Performers Practice Day. But you must obtain a "Shutterbug" Photographer ticket to get through. All additional information and the latest announcements on the schedule of events within the upcoming Air Show Atlantic are provided on the event's official website. Also, you can contact the organizers via social media. See the links in the External Resources below.
Lastly, we recommend booking your stay in advance. The accommodations map will assist you in choosing the best bet available near the festival's venue.
