Maryland Fleet Week & Flyover Baltimore is a free biennial event that takes place in Baltimore in fall. A week-long celebration is all about the Fs—“Fleet, Flights, and Festivals”. It features public tours of over 10 U.S., Canadian and British vessels in the Inner Harbor, Fells Point and Locust Point. Lots of entertainment and festivities await visitors in the Inner Harbor, from Maryland Science Center to the National Aquarium. The USAF Thunderbirds' jets highlight the aerial show on the Martin State Airport tarmac, but always check the event's official website in case there are any potential changes and/or updates.

Maryland Fleet Week & Flyover attract about 300,000 attendees to various locations across Baltimore every other year. Flyover Baltimore is the largest in the state of Maryland. It can be watched in the skies over Fort McHenry, Middle Branch, and the Inner Harbor.

Fleet Week opening ceremony takes place at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater and Pratt and Light streets. By this time, several historical ships are supposed to arrive at the Inner Harbor, Fells Point and Locust Point welcoming visitors aboard from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Shuttle buses from the Inner Harbor to Locust Point are also available.

An open house at Martin State Airport keeps its doors open all day long and features ground displays, historic planes, interactive exhibits, food, live entertainment and the chance to see the planes take off.
