Medieval Festival Ibiza 2024

The celebration of Ibiza's cultural legacy is highlighted with medieval performances, particularly walldancing where acrobats perform awe-inspiring stunts on the castle walls lit with blue spotlights which tells a story of strife. The festival is held every year on the second weekend of May in Dalt Vila which literally means "Upper Town" and is declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The old town goes back in time to the Middle Ages and ancient buildings and streets are adorned according to this style. Numerous fairs offer medieval trinkets and the vendors are dressed up in contemporary garb.
