Festa delle Lucerne 2022 in Naples and Pompeii
Every four years in the borough of Casamale that stands close to Vesuvio there is a beautiful medieval ritual of dialogue between death and life
Dates: August 4–6, 2022 (on hold)
Narrow medieval streets of the small town are recreating the ancient atmosphere by lighting lamps of square or triangular shape and by laying the tables with food on the streets of the town. The symbolic night of spiritual dialogue between life and death.
