The Ohinata no Hitoboshi fire show is annually performed on a secluded bridge in Ohinata, Nanmoku village. The fire rings are created with 2-3 meters of constantly spinning burning ropes. This mysterious event symbolises the victory of the Takeda clan during the Warring States period and is usually performed to a flute and drum accompaniment. The festival is one of the biggest events in the Gunma Prefecture.
