Koroneburg Renaissance Festival takes place over multiple weekends from May to June. In 2024, the dates are the following: May 25-27, June 1-2, 8-9, 15-16, and 22-23. Thus, you can choose a date that suits you best. Moreover, each weekend has its own unique theme. For example, in May, it's "Military Appreciation", dedicated to pay tribute to both retired and current military personnel. June 1-2, in turn, goes for a "Market Mayhem" theme, which is self-explanatory. After that, there's a "Pirate Weekend", a "Celtic Weekend", and finally – the "Baron’s Birthday Celebration".
Koroneburg Renaissance Festival activities
The only permanently built Renaissance fair in Southern California offers premium entertainment, like Imperial Knights Jousting, Washing Well Wenches, and Falcon’s Court – Birds of Prey Demonstration. The lineup also includes Celtic music bands, like Black Rose, Dennis Gilmore, Sweetwater Creek, and others. In addition, guests can see Comedic Fire Circus, a Tibetan Yak Show, pyro jugglers, belly dancing, and other shows. However, activities clearly differ a bit for each theme of the festival.
Families can enjoy Finagle Forest — the kids' arts & crafts zone near the Wilkommen Inn. Skill games include catapults, dart throwing, and human-powered merry-go-round. One-of-a-kind shopping experience and craft demonstrations include period furniture making at the Renaissance Wood Shop, master blacksmiths at Antares, leatherworking, woodworking, and handcrafts at McDara. The Koroneburg Renaissance Festival runs from Memorial Day weekend through late June on Saturdays and Sundays. Gates are open from 10 am to 7 pm.

First, you can buy a single day pass, costing $30 for adults, and $20 for kids aged 6-12, senior citizens, the military, and groups of five and more. Additionally, feel free to purchase a season pass, which gets you admission for the whole festive season. It costs $60 for adults and only $40 for children.
