Miami is always up for a party, and Chinese New Year is another occasion to celebrate and indulge in delicious food. Chinese restaurants in downtown and on South Beach usually offer special menus and entertainment during the Spring Festival that marks the arrival of the Lunar New Year. From hot pot to dim sum, there's a lot to try and see.
Chinese New Year Festival is another way to mark the holiday. One of Miami's top ethnic festivals is held at the Fred Shaw Plaza of Miami Dade College Kendall Campus. The event features “exotic Asian food” and an entertainment program with acrobats, dance groups, drummers, and musicians. There are also family-friendly activities and crafts for the younger ones.
