Star Spangled Spectacular (July 4, 2023)
Star Spangled Spectacular is the most impressive firework show on the Gulf Coast. Two simultaneous displays are launched from the M.B. Miller County Pier and the city pier across from Pier Park. The fireworks last from 9 to 10 pm and they are perfectly visible from hotels and waterfront restaurants.
Light Up the Gulf (July 3, 2023)
One of the most anticipated annual events in Panama City Beach, Light Up the Gulf is a fireworks show held near The Boardwalk Beach Resort Hotel & Convention Center at 9600 S. Thomas Dr. The dazzling extravaganza is attended by the hotel guests and general public. The fireworks, which start at about 8:30 pm, are free for everyone to attend.
Freedom Rocks! (July 3, 2023)
Freedom Rocks is another reason to visit Panama City Beach during Independence Day Weekend. The fireworks are launched at 8:45 pm from the middle of the of the Grand Lagoon near Grand lagoon Bridge. You can go on a firework cruise to watch from the water or reserve a table in a waterfront restaurant. Free parking is available at Capt. Anderson’s Marina, Treasure Island Marina, and Pirate’s Cove Marinas.
In addition to fireworks, Panama City Beach offers lots of watersports and beautiful nooks such as Shell Island or St. Andrews Bay. You can go fishing, diving, jet-skiing, or spend the day at Shipwreck Island Water Park.
