Independence Day is America's favorite summer holiday, and spending it on the beach is always an excellent idea! Panama City Beach hosts the largest Independence Day celebration on the Gulf Coast, attracting thousands of people with its spectacular views.
PCB Fireworks 2024
Fireworks, live music, a top dining experience, and family-friendly fun make the Fourth of July celebration in Panama City Beach one to remember. The best thing: Panama City Beach hosts not one but three fireworks displays: Star Spangled Spectacular, Light Up the Gulf, and Freedom Rocks.
Star Spangled Spectacular (July 4, 2024)
Star Spangled Spectacular is the most impressive firework show on the Gulf Coast. Two simultaneous displays are launched from the M.B. Miller County Pier and the city pier across from Pier Park. The fireworks last from 9 to 10 pm and they are perfectly visible from hotels and waterfront restaurants.
Light Up the Gulf (July 3, 2024)
One of the most anticipated annual events in Panama City Beach, Light Up the Gulf is a fireworks show held near The Boardwalk Beach Resort Hotel & Convention Center at 9600 S. Thomas Dr. This fireworks show takes place every year on July 3, which is a great start to the awesome celebration in red, white and blue colors. The dazzling extravaganza is attended by hotel guests and the general public. The fireworks, which start at about 9 pm and finish at 10 pm, are free for everyone to attend.
Freedom Rocks! (July 3-4, 2024)
Freedom Rocks is another reason to visit Panama City Beach during Independence Day Weekend. The fireworks are launched at 8:45 pm from the middle of the of the Grand Lagoon near Grand lagoon Bridge. Guests can go on a fireworks cruise to watch from the water or reserve a table in a waterfront restaurant. Free parking is available at Capt. Anderson’s Marina, Treasure Island Marina, and Pirate’s Cove Marinas.
In addition to fireworks, Panama City Beach offers many watersports and beautiful nooks such as Shell Island or St. Andrews Bay. You can go fishing, diving, jet-skiing, or spend the day at Shipwreck Island Water Park. Free parking is available at Treasure Island Marina, Capt. Anderson’s Marina, and Pirate’s Cove Marinas.
Lynn Haven Independence Day Celebration (July 4, 2024)
The 4th of July celebration in Lynn Haven, which is 12 miles (19 km) from Panama City Beach, features free, all-day, family-friendly events. Events will take place at different locations. In particular, the Party in the U.S.A. festival and our America: Home of the Brave parade and concert with The Gra8ful Dads and Deana Carter. On this wonderful day, visitors can end with a 25-minute fireworks show, which usually starts at 9 pm.
