The Rosemary House Fairy Festival 2024 in Pennsylvania

The annual Fairy Festival is a beloved children's event held every September at Rosemary House in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The festival features live music, scavenger hunts, story readings, face painting, fairy potpourri, arts and crafts workshops, and a captivating fairy fashion show, making it a magical experience for all who attend.

Schedule of Events

At the Rosemary House Fairy Festival, little guests can don their enchanting costumes to fully immerse themselves in a magical world filled with fairies, elves, forest sprites, wizards, unicorns, hobbits, gnomes, and mermaids. Participants can enjoy delightful fairy-themed snacks, including a Fairy Food Lunch Sack that requires pre-ordering.

The festival offers a variety of activities for children ages 3 to 11, such as DIY Pixie Face Painting, Fortune Fairy Ducks, a Trinket Trading Shop, Tattoos of the Wee Folk, Mining for Gem Blessing Stones, and bubble play. Kids can also engage in sand art, decorate fairy wings, and paint with watercolors. Visitors are encouraged to meet Gingersnap Fairy and the Woodland Fairy under the Pavilion during their visit. The festival runs from 10 am to 4 pm.

Vendors

The Rosemary House Fairy Festival also offers a unique shopping experience with a variety of vendors, including Jenni Buffington Art, Fantasy Face Painting, Elemental Whisperings, Posies Pretties, Soolah Hoops, and Hemp Creations. Attendees can browse a delightful selection of items such as hair clips, dream catchers, jewelry, pet magnets, painted rocks, and much more.

Tickets & Parking

The price of admission is $7.50, and all parking is free. On Saturday, visitors can park at Grace United Methodist Church, located at the corner of Simpson and Market Street. Late Saturday afternoon and Sunday, parking is available at the PNC Bank lot on the corner of Main and Market Streets. Free street parking is also accessible around the shop, and there is a municipal parking lot on W. Strawberry Alley.
