Snowshoeing is a kind of winter activity that is getting more and more popular from year to year. The mountains and valleys around Vancouver offer a wide range of snowshoeing opportunities.

Kilometres of scenic winter trails will lead you to the top of Grouse Mountain. First timers, as well as professionals, will find here various difficulties and plenty of elevations.

Two other slopes also offer snowshoeing trails. These are Cypress Mountain and Mount Seymour. You can try a guided tour as well as travel alone. Rentals and lessons for beginners are also available. It's quite fun and easy to learn, so soon you'll be discovering amazing winter landscapes on your own.

Snowshoeing season usually lasts from early December through March, but we suggest checking the webcams and info updates to make sure there is a thick layer of snow to enjoy the winter experience.
