One of the most popular outdoor destinations in Bavaria, Wallberg is a mountain in the Mangfallgebirge, Bavarian Alps. Wallberg is among the favorite spots of German paragliders and hang-gliders. Also, Wallberg boasts a spectacular natural toboggan run, the longest in Germany.

The Wallbergbahn is 4-mi (6.5-km) long. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the bottom of the mountain if you do the toboggan ride . As it's quite challenging, this sledding experience is unsuitable for children. The ride is open daily during the winter season from 9 am to 3:30 pm. The winter season in the Bavarian Alps typically runs from late November until Easter, but the best time is between December and March.

From the top of Wallberg Mountain, there's a great view of the Tegernsee valley. You can get to the top by taking the cable car from Rottach-Egern. At the summit, visitors can also see Kircherl or Chapel, which is over 100 years old. Below the summit, visitors can relax in Panorama Restaurant, located at an altitude of 5,324 ft (1,623 m).
