Carnaval del Sol is one of the most popular and fun annual festivals taking place in Vancouver. Every July, tens of thousands of Latin America's culture fans are drawn by two days of live music, dance, sports, art, and poetry. Carnaval del Sol features more than 450 artists from different countries. The festival is part of the Latin American Week. Other highlights include Latin American Film Night, a soccer tournament, Tree of Life art workshops, Latin Circus Orchestra, Tango & Flamenco Moments, and the Fiesta Blanca Cruise.

Carnaval del Sol takes place at various plazas in Vancouver, featuring stages for entertainment, great food, live music, and dance. Performers from different countries dance Zumba, Belly Dance, Folklore, and more. The art exhibits include Native Canadian and Latin American works, crafts displays, and a Latin American fashion show. The main event is taking place at Jonathan Rogers Park, with stunning views of the Downtown.

The opening concert of the Carnaval usually takes place on Friday night, from 6 to 11 pm. The show features Dance amazing DJs and performers in various Latino genres, including impersonators of Camila Cabello. Shakira, Selena, Thalia, and others.
