Carnaval del Sol is one of the most popular and fun annual festivals taking place in Vancouver. Every July, tens of thousands of Latin America's culture fans are drawn by two days of live music, dance, sports, art, and poetry. Carnaval del Sol features more than 450 artists from different countries.
The festival is part of the Latin American Week. Other highlights include Latin American Film Night, a soccer tournament, Tree of Life art workshops, Latin Circus Orchestra, Tango & Flamenco Moments, and the Fiesta Blanca Cruise.
Carnaval Del Sol Events and Activities
Carnaval del Sol takes place at various plazas in Vancouver, featuring stages for entertainment, great food, live music, and dance. Performers from different countries dance Zumba, Belly Dance, Folklore, and more. The art exhibits include Native Canadian and Latin American works, crafts displays, and a Latin American fashion show. The main event is taking place at Jonathan Rogers Park, with stunning views of the Downtown.
The opening concert of the Carnaval takes place at Jonathan Rogers Park on July 5, 2024, from 6 to 11 pm. The show features Dance amazing DJs and performers in various Latino genres, including impersonators of Camila Cabello. Shakira, Selena, Thalia, and others.
Carnaval Del Sol 2024 Line-Up
This year stage will entertain audience with music and dance performances by Kirá Chao, Chesca, Dj Gambeat y la Grooving familia, Ramon Chicharron, Caleb Hart, Mexico Vivo, Muévete, ROOTS Peruvian Folk Dance, DJ Sanchez, Empanadas Ilegales, Cheko Ruiz, Matices del Sur, Qairo, Foleada, Elegancia Cubana, Sambacouver, and many more.

A 1-day general admission ticket for Carnaval Del Sol is $21.49, and a 2-day VIP Super Pass is $63.29. There is also a 1-day 5-ticket pack available for $18.36 per ticket and a 10-ticket pack for $17.31 per ticket. Kids and seniors enter for free. Also, guests need to buy tickets for the Carnaval del Sol Opening Night Party for CA$31.94.
