Virginia Beach’s restaurant scene offers a great experience for diners especially during the Virginia Beach Restaurant Week (VBRW), which is held every February (and fall edition in October). The event that is hosted by Virginia Beach Restaurant Association features special breakfast, lunch and dinner menus from over 100 local restaurants. Breakfast menus are offered at $5 and $10, lunches at $10 and $15 for two courses, and dinners at $20, $25 and $35 for a three-course meal.
The number of restaurants participating in Virginia Beach Restaurant Week is continuously growing, which provides opportunities for local foodies to discover new favourite places. The list includes such popular eateries as Rockafeller's Restaurant, Civil Libation, Saffron, Waterman's Surfside Grille, Surf Club Ocean Grille, and others.
Virginia Beach Restaurant Week started in 2006 and has grown from under twenty participants to about a hundred. It showcases the diversity of restaurants in the area, and range from seafood to exotic international cuisines and American classics.
