Arkansas Comic Con is a two-day popular culture convention held at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock. The event is dedicated to comic books, anime, sci-fi, horror, and video gaming, attracts thousands of fans as well as vendors, artists, and celebrities. The convention weekend is filled with plenty of family-friendly activities, entertainment, and social interaction.
Dozens of vendors offer a wide range of collectibles, comic books, and various merchandise at the exhibition floor. Panel discussions, photo ops, and autograph sessions with celebrities are the most popular with fans. The list of Arkansas Comic Con guests in the past included Sean Astin, Shannon Elizabeth, Michael Biehn, Justin Briner, Greg Cipes, Denise Crosby, David Koechner, Ricco Fajardo, Bruce Campbell, Vernon Wells, Judith Hoag, and Jason David Frank.
The fan convention runs from 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday and from 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday. Tickets start at $30 per day or $50 for both days. Kids 10 and under can enter for free, however they must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket (two kids are allowed to get in per one adult paid ticket).
