Country LakeShake (known as Windy City LakeShake by 2016) is the biggest country music festival in Chicago. Before Country LakeShake Festival there was no major country music event in the city, and the launch of this festival in 2014 is what country music fans of the Midwest have been waiting for. A 3-day event is held every June on two stages at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island. The combination of country music, water, and great summer weather on the banks of Lake Michigan is indeed a recipe for success!
The Country LakeShake Festival offers visitors a great view of Chicago's skyline, a good choice of food trucks, a wine lounge, and a Blackhawks bar. There are interactive activities for the audience, pop-up performances, and line dancing. Due to the great atmosphere, Country LakeShake has quickly evolved into one of the most popular country music events in the U.S.
