Suwannee Lights 2024 in Florida

A festive drive-through and walk-thru light display in northern Florida

Suwannee Lights is a huge holiday light display featuring over 6.5 million lights with drive-through and walk-through options. Visitors can expect photo opportunities, campfire songs, karaoke, marshmallows, and hot chocolate. Kids can meet Santa and his elves on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights in the Country Store, while adults visit Craft Village to shop for handmade gifts.

Suwannee Christmas Lights Program

Visitors can combine a dazzling drive-through experience with a mesmerizing walk-through. After a drive, park your car and explore the enchanting garden and amphitheater on foot. The area is covered with thousands of lights and spectacular displays. The lights are scattered in intricate patterns throughout the grounds, taking the shape of Santas, reindeer, holiday gifts, and other festive creations. Take an up-close look at the magic of Christmas while walking down to the Music and Lights Finale. Afterward, stop at the nostalgic Craft Village to see some souvenirs, decorations, and handmade gifts for the whole family.

Music & Other Entertainment at the Park

On November 29-30th, you can also enjoy the Old Tyme Farm Days Festival, which features a fascinating arts & crafts market, as well as numerous workshops, such as soap making, cane grinding, and syrup making. Admission is $10. On December 14-15, swing by the Music Hall in the park to witness a Christmas with Elvis concert, where local performers play the best hits of King of Rock and Roll. The show begins at 6 pm, with advance tickets costing $10.

Tickets

Ticket prices normally depend on the chosen day of visit, with weekdays being cheaper and weekends more expensive due to a higher number of visitors. You can purchase tickets both online and at the gate. However, organizers recommend buying tickets in advance to choose your preferred date and time. Kids under four get free admission.

Schedule & Hours

Suwannee Lights Festival runs from late November through December, from 6 pm to 10 pm every night. The entire experience might take more than half an hour, so consider arriving at least an hour before closing to fully enjoy the mesmerizing Christmas lights.

Tickets

On Sunday–Thursday, the adult ticket is $10 at the gate and $8 online. On Friday and Saturday, the prices rise to $12 and $10, respectively. A child ticket (4 to 12 years old) is always $2, while kids under four get free admission. Discounted tickets for seniors over 65 years old, members of the Armed Forces, and first responders cost $6 online and $8 at the gate Sunday through Thursday and $8 and $10, respectively, on Friday and Saturday. If you're driving a car, you need to purchase a car pass on top of admission. The car pass costs $1 on Sunday-Thursday and $2 on Friday-Saturday.

Location near Live Oak

The festivities take place in the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park & Campground, north of Live Oak, Florida. The park is located on the picturesque banks of the Suwannee River in North Florida and serves as a natural area for outdoor music concerts. While at the grounds, you can stay at one of more than 600 campsites or rent a cabin to enjoy wintertime in Live Oak. Lower Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge is located approximately 83 miles (134 km) from Suwannee Music Park & Campground and welcomes numerous bird species all year round.
