Christmas Tram in Bratislava, Slovakia 2024

Have you ever heard about this Christmas tram? It's a place where you can feel like you are in your living room, with a warm and cozy atmosphere and sweet Christmas music. The tram is decorated with Christmas lights and inside you will find cozy furniture, a fireplace, and some amusement. Every year the Christmas tram's interior and exterior have a different theme. In 2019 the theme was the biblical story of the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem. The tram offers free rides for all visitors, and this experience is loved by both kids and adults. So, enjoy the atmosphere of old town Bratislava and beautiful melodies.

The tram operates in the city starting from early December to the end of the month. However, Christmas is a holiday even for the Christmas tram (it's not available on December 24-25)

The frequency of the tram is every 30 min, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends. The tram leaves from Jesenského street (the stop is in front of the historical theater building) and goes to Slovak National Theater, Kapucínska, Chatam Sofer, SNP bridge and back to Jesenského.
